What to wear, what to wear?

For your first Boudoir Shoot!

If you are like me you may get excited at the thought of being photographed by a Boudoir Photographer. I mean what woman (or man) doesn’t want to feel amazing, beautiful, and empowered? Some women already have a lingerie wardrobe and feel confident and sexy with what they have. Okay, that’s great for the 1% that have it figured out, more love to you. However, most women do not know what to wear.

One thing that you can do is ask your photographer. He/she may ask for a picture of you if they can not meet you in person. This way they can give you an idea of what would fit your body the best and bring out the features that you love the most about yourself. They will also most likely send you a questionnaire about yourself. This will help them know what you want most out of your session. 

Okay, so now you know what may fit your body type best, now what. You may hear of different websites that you can search to find the perfect outfits. Yes, I said outfits. Try not to get overwhelmed. It is a good idea to bring 3-4 changes of wardrobe with you.  I would suggest, something really sexy, something simple, something you never thought you would wear, and something that you feel comfortable in or just love! Also, a classic pair of heels and some simple jewelry is great too! I promise it is less complicated than it sounds. 

So back to my point, where can you find a great wardrobe? My suggestion is to take your measurements and check out the sizing guide before ordering. Also, plan ahead! Not every website is amazon so it may take a week or so to get your order in. Speaking of amazon you can order from there however, I find that it is way too overwhelming. Especially if you do not know what you are looking for. By all means, if you do know what you are looking for go for it!

I feel like when it is all said and done the most important thing is that you feel comfortable. Whatever you decide to wear a great photographer will bring out all that is sexy about you and highlight everything you love about yourself.
